2004 is the 100-year
celebration of the
1904 Welsh Revival.
Join thousands of Christians from around the city and further afield as we celebrate the God of revival in times past and the present day. With special guest speaker, Selwyn Hughes and also Rob Lacey and Mal Pope.
Selwyn Hughes is an author and preacher who was born and raised in the mining village of Fochriw, near Dowlais in South Wales. His family were greatly affected +by the 1904 revival and they in turn influenced the course of his life both as preacher and author. Selwyn founded an organisation called Crusade for World Revival which aims to make the message of revival known around the world. But he is perhaps best known for his daily reading notes Every Day with Jesus, which give spiritual guidance to close on a million people in over 140 countries every day.
